The Thaumium Essentia Smeltery is both a research option under the Alchemy tab and is available for research after researching Magical Metallurgy, Improved Essentia Distillation and Essentia Distillation and a block that allows for the distillation of items into Essentia. It is like the normal Essentia Smeltery in many ways, including how the Essentia slurry is distilled, but is more efficient, operating at ~85% as opposed to ~80% efficiency compared to the normal Smeltery, and can distill the slurry produced at double the speed of the original Smeltery, meaning that more items can be smelted with the given fuel as there will be less buildup of slurry. It can be created at an Arcane Workbench with 2 Brass Plates in the top right and left corners, an Essentia Smeltery in the top middle section, an Alchemical Construct in the center, and 5 Thaumium ingots in the middle left and right sections, and all of the bottom row, along with 350 Ignis and Aqua Vis.
