Alchemical Manufacture is a research option in the Alchemy tab that can be purchased with experience after researching Magic Tallow. Alchemical Manufacture allows for the creation of rare or difficult to obtain items via Alchemy. Objects one can create are: clay, cobwebs, moss stone, ice, lava buckets and grass blocks.

Items[]

Clay[]

Clay can be created with a piece of dirt as the catalyst along with one Terra and Aqua aspect. Clay has several Alchemical uses, namely in the creation of the Golem Control Seal and Glass Phials. Clay itself can be annoying to obtain normally and also has mundane uses as well. The aspects needed for this recipe, along with the catalyst, dirt, are all common, making this , arguably, a very useful and practical recipe.

Cobweb[]

Cobwebs can be created with a piece of string as the catalyst along with 2 Vinculum aspects. Cobwebs are not used in Alchemy, but can be ascetically pleasing to some. Cobwebs do have several mundane uses, however, such as traps and things of the like, making this recipe relatively useful for obtaining this otherwise unobtainable item.

Moss Stone[]

Moss stone can be created with a piece of cobblestone as the catalyst along with 2 Herba aspects. Moss stone has no Alchemical value, but can be ascetically pleasing to some. It is also difficult or annoying to obtain otherwise, potentially taking long trips to either get the materials needed to create it or find it in its own. Along with the aspect of Herba being quite plentiful and cobblestone being easy to come across or acquire, this recipe is much simpler, more practical and quicker than obtaining moss stone in almost any other way, making it quite useful to those who like it for its aesthetic value.

Ice[]

Ice can be created with a snow block as the catalyst and 1 Ordo and Gelum aspect. Ice can be used to create an Elemental Wand Core, and can also be used ascetically, or melted into water to conserve space, as carrying many buckets of water takes a large amount of space. Ice can otherwise be difficult to obtain, taking a valuable silk touch tool to obtain and not having too many uses. This makes being able to create it Alchemically, without wasting valuable enchanted tools, much more efficient and practical, if not more attractive of a method as well.

Bucket of Lava[]

A bucket of lava can be created using a bucket as the catalyst and 4 Ignis and 2 Terra aspects. Although lava is plentiful underground, it can be annoying, inconvenient, or dangerous to try to get. As so, creating it via Alchemy can be very useful. If one is struggling to easily create it, if Entropic Processing has been researched, one can use a piece of dirt, diorite, granite or andesite along with 1 gunpowder and 4 wool to leave no waste aspects left over after creation. Note that if the wool is added before the gunpowder, there will be no Perditio aspects in the Crucible and the wool will be converted into its aspects.

Grass Block[]

Grass blocks can be created using dirt as the catalyst along with 1 Herba aspect. Although grass blocks have no use in Alchemy, they can be used to bring grass to areas that might not otherwise have access to it, and makes it so that one no longer must have a tool enchanted with silk touch to get grass blocks. This recipe can also be used to, when creating other items via Alchemy, soak up any extra Herba aspects with ease, as the grass can then be broken to be recycled back into dirt, and keeps the Herba aspects from breaking down into Flux.
